Is it possible to visit Tsukiji Fish Market with a guide?

Tokyo Tsukiji Market was the biggest fish market in the world and used to attract crowds of visitors. Now tuna auctions don’t occur anymore in Tsukiji, but it is still possible to visit the Outer Market.

There are, however, some rules to discover the place with a guide.

OUTER MARKET

Tsukiji Outer Market is open from 5 a.m. but the visit is usually interesting from 9 a.m.

Note however that this service is not recommended for persons in wheelchairs: there are indeed risks due to the narrowness of the alleys, where pallet trucks drive very fast.
