Is it possible to meet Geisha with a guide?
It is possible, but only in Kyoto. Most of the 200 Geisha of the country live in the former capital of Japan, where they are called “Geiko” and their apprentices “Maiko”.
Two ranges of performances are available, depending on the privacy level, as follow. Pictures are generally allowed but the use of flash is forbidden.
Booking in advance is recommended, especially during high season, for availability reasons.
