Is it possible to use the JR Pass to travel between airports and big cities?

Once started, the countrywide JR Pass offers unlimited travels from the three main airports in Japan:

From Tokyo-Narita

The “Narita Express” (also named “N’EX”) connects Narita airport to several important stations in Tokyo, among which:

  • Tokyo
  • Shinagawa
  • Shibuya
  • Shinjuku
  • Ikebukuro
  • Yokohama

From Tokyo-Haneda

The Monorail serves Hamamatsucho Station, on the Yamanote Line (also included in the JR Pass). Departures every 10 minutes.

From Kansai International Airport

The “Haruka Limited Express” is a direct train to Osaka and Kyoto.
